Harmony Day Mural 2013

This year I decided to do a school wide mural focusing on skin colour. Skin colour should not be a big deal and most of the time it isn't at our school. This mural focuses on the fact that ALL people have different shades for the colour of their skin. Students chose the colour that suited themselves best to draw a self portrait onto. The final effect is pretty special as are the staff students and parents at our school. Happy Harmony Week! Celebrate how wonderful living in a multicultural country truly is! :)

2010 School Fete - Art exhibition

For the 2009 school fete I organised an art exhibition as my contribution to the fundraising on the day. Every student in the school had a piece of art in the exhibition. We worked for a whole term to complete the work.
Level 4 made recycled cardboard masterpieces copying a famous artwork and recreating it using only recycled cardboard.
Level 3 made self portraits using various recycled materials focusing on colour and texture
Level 2 created alter ego cartoon characters
Level 1 made a box city
It was a wonderful success on the day with family and friends coming through the exhibition all day.
