Van Gogh inspired Paintings

 

Inspired by the painting 'Starry Night' by Vincent Van Gogh the Prep students have been busy learning his painting techniques and doing their best to put them into practise. Here are some of the finished products.

Ikebana bookmarks

Grade 3 and 4's started their Asian art unit learning about Ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arranging. They learnt about two styles of Ikebana; Moribana and Heika. They designed two flower arrangements from each style and then picked their favourite one to make a 2D version in a bookmark.
